Education here begins with a “WOW”

Our teaching methods are kept simple but effective. Children at KBPS are offered meaningful opportunities to individually develop their potential, enabling them to step out into the world as responsible, engaged, competent and respectful individuals with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life. We also use a variety of active and passive activities and instructional methods to keep children motivated and stimulated. Learning methods like Play-way, hands-on activities and experiential learning are preferred which not only ensures subjective and socio-emotional development but also help develop a strong sense of curiosity in children.

Child Centric Method (CCM) of Education at KBPS

We follow the ways of teaching and treating children in which a child’s interests and needs are given importance for. KBPS promotes CCM of education that stimulates early brain development and allows children to imagine and create on their own. Facilitators and teachers encourage the spirit of enquiry in children and help stimulate curiosity in them. Children are encouraged to observe the things around them, ask questions, solve problems, and kindle their creativity and imagination. Encouraging children to express themselves creates a well-adjusted, free-thinking mindset in them. Through CCM children are made to move from simple to complex, concrete to abstract, and informal to formal concepts in a logical and faced manner.

Pre-eminent Curriculum

The Early Years Learning Program (EYLP) from NEXT Education curriculum providers is chosen and structured to the differing and changing needs of preschool children. Reading material as well as the classroom transactions and interactions are integrated to ensure that all five domains of a child’s development during early years are taken care of. The timetable is set with a framework that includes the aspect of creative learning, skill education and development, problem-solving, and physical, emotional and social development of the child. The FLIPS model standing for flexibility, leadership, imagination, patience socializing skills is also incorporated into the learning process.

Well-balanced CPT (child-parent-teacher) equation

The triangle consisting of child, parent, and teachers plays a vital role in education and is an equilateral one where the role of each is vital and interconnected with each other. Parents’ opinions and suggestions are always considered and adapted wherever suitable. PTMs and parenting talks from specialized people are conducted at KBPS regularly. Learning starts first at home. Infrastructure: “mini-school” concept preschool

Kiddiebears is a safe and child-friendly preschool having spacious and colourful classrooms with zero sharp edges and cushioned floor mats. Every room is strategically organized and has a reading corner, activity corner, and hands-on learning tools for kids to explore and make learning fun. The play area is well-equipped with child-friendly toys and a sand pit. Lots of extra learning happens in the exclusive activity room and an audio-visual room. Easily accessible small washbasins and lavatories are the highlights. As a part of security, the whole campus is under the surveillance of CCTV.

Values centric education

Children are sharp observers and always try to pick up characteristics from elders. Hence, all our teachers have the responsibility to be role models to the children and teach values in a way that gets etched in their minds eternally. Teaching values such as kindness, honesty, respect, sharing, cleanliness, discipline, and compassion are also considered a part of the curriculum. Every month one value is chosen and a lot of activities are planned in the timetable that help children imbibe in them the value such that, with time it becomes their nature.

Education apart from the textbook

Children are encouraged in indoor and outdoor play games that promote healthy development, critical thinking skills, learn social interactions.
Music, dance, yoga and exercise classes as part of the curriculum
Every alternate Saturday virtual Sanskrit shloka classes are conducted
